Answer by JKismyhusbandbae: [tex]y=\frac{5}{3}x + 3[/tex]
Explanation: The slope is 5/3 but it every-time it goes up by 3.
remember that you can do anything to an equaiton as long as you do it to both sides
3y-5x=9
add 5x to both sides
3y+5x-5x=9+5x
3y+0=5x+9
3y=5x+9
divide both sides by 3
[tex]\frac{3y}{3}=\frac{5x+9}{3}[/tex]
[tex](y)(\frac{3}{3})=\frac{5x+9}{3}[/tex]
[tex](y)(1)=\frac{5x+9}{3}[/tex]
[tex]y=\frac{5x+9}{3}[/tex]
