Some victims do not report about and violence they are suffering. discuss two reasons why many cases of abuse and violence are not reported

1) they are brainwashed into feeling that they are the cause of their troubles. 
2) they are ashamed of what happened to them.
3) in some cases the perpetrator has threatened to kill the family of the person who is the victim should they be reported. 
The list could easily go on but these 3 are some of the top reasons.
