Islam became part of North African cultures due to the geographical location and due to the spread of refugees from Saudi Arabia and other countries in Asia. North Africa was one of the first countries that Islam spread to other than Asia.
Islam became a part of North African cultures due to the Muslim refugees that fled their countries into Africa because of the many persecutions that they were subjected to in their Arab countries.
Also another way that the religion also spread in North Africa was through Arab merchants and armies that conquered different regions.
After these Islamic Arabs conquered North Africa in the seventh century, the religion was spread all through the region and also into the West of the continent.
