When a dolphin jumps, it moves its muscles and chemical potential energy is converted to kinetic energy. Some of this energy is lost to the dolphin. Explain why this phenomenon does not violate the Law of Conservation of Energy.

I would say the answer is either A or B, the Law of Consevation of Energy states that,"the total energy of an isolated system remains constant" so this energy isn't destroyed, it's simply useless. When we use energy to run, our energy is released as heat, so I would assume that it is the same for other creatures. Let me know if this helps.
