Gender inequality in a relationship means one person in the relationship is either dominant and the other one is inferior especially in decision making. It could contribute to teenage pregnancy because the one who is dominant or superior in the relationship could take advantage on the other person and could forced the other one to do things even though it is against his/her will.

During the follow-up period, young women's opinions regarding the nature of relationships enhanced the risk of an incident pregnancy.
