In 1954 when the NAACP filed the lawsuit Brown Vs. Board of Education their goal was B) to end segregation in public education. The NAACP or National Association for the Advancement of Colored People believed that it was unconstitutional for schools to segregate black and white kids. Thus when the court case was won in their favor it was considered a landmark win for the rights of all US citizens.
