Two of Johnson's great legislative accomplishments were the "Voting Rights Act," and the "Civil Rights Act", since these greatly advanced the standing of African Americans in the country.

Two of Johnson's great legislative accomplishments were: Civil Rights Acts  and Voting Rights Act.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ended segregation in public places and banned employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The Cicil Right Act is considered one of the crowning legislative achievements of the civil rights movement.

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 aimed to break legal barriers at the state and local levels that prevented African Americans from exercising their right to vote as guaranteed under the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It was  enacted by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
