Henry is saving money for college. He earns $210 each week working part time after school and the weekends. Henry currently has $2,240 in savings. His parents put $100 in his savings account each week and he saves one-third of his paycheck each week. Which expression represents the situation? (n represents the number of weeks)
and please explain how you did it (your work) in detail... i dont understand it and i need help...
I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW

Respuesta :

y=2240+100x+70x
y=170x+2240

x represents the number of weeks
Multiply x by 100 to get the amount of money saved from his parents
Multiply x by 70 to represent 1/3 of his paycheck each week (210/3)=70
add 2240 because that is how much money there is to begin with in the account(this would be the y-intercept)
