The term was used by writer Gertrude Stein to describe those left deeply disillusioned by World War I was "Lost Generation," since many of these people found it hard to "move on".
Writer Gertrude Stein describes the generations of young people who had grown up during the First World War, as well as those who were disappointed by the war scenes in which they participated, created a coin, lost generation. This term expresses all the slowness and lack of motivation of the lost generation, who due to the lack of elan are unable to perform the most ordinary daily tasks. This term was also used by Ernest Hemingway in his novel "The Sun Also Rises".
