Hey there!
Here's how multiplying by powers of 10 works.
The power of 10 that you're multiplying by dictates how much you move the decimal.
Here's an example:
If we multiply 42.34 by 10 squared, or 100, you'll get 4234.
Let's start with these problems.
First, we're looking at what number multiplied by 100 is 729. If we know we're going two places to the left to get 729, we can take 729 and go two to the left to get 7.29.

For the next one, we need to know what number to multiply 48.48 by to get 4848. We see that you need to move the decimal two places, so you multiply it by 10 to the power of 2, or 100.

For the 3rd one, we can use the same technique we used before, but instead we move it one place to the left this time, as it's 10. Therefore, we have 21.4 as our answer.

For the last, again we're moving two places, therefore we're multiplying by 100.
Hope this helped!
