Jane Addams was a human right´s fighter, first american woman to receive the Peace Nobel, she always stood up for the poor, immigrants, women and children, her legacy was to institute nursery schools, child care centers, english schools for immigrants; she always fought for woman´s right to be an active part of society and created Hull-House, a foster home in Chicago.
