The question is,'what are the impacts of atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is a disease condition in which plaque build up inside the arteries, thereby causing hardening and narrowing of the arteries. Atherosclerosis usually results in cardiovascular and kidney diseases. The diseases that may result include:coronary heart disease, chest pain, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease and chronic kidney disease.
The impact of arteriosclerosis is the inefficient blood flow. This disease usually happens in elderly people, and refers to the walls of the arteries hardening and thickening. Naturally, after this happens, blood cannot flow through arteries as fast as it used to when the arteries weren't sick. It is quite dangerous as it can cause heart attacks and other fatal tragedies.
