if the equation is 0.5*n*2-0.5n which I doubt: n-0.5n 8-0.5*8 8-4 the answer would be 4 however if it's 0.5n^2-0.5n: 0.5(8^2)-0.5(8) 0.5(64)-4 32-4 28 then the answer should be 28
