so, she has difficulty reading close objects.

So she is

farsighted (hyperopic)

To correct her eyesight converging lens or convex lens will be used.

(b) u = 24 cm -2.3 cm = 21.7 cm

v = -67+2.3= 64.7 cm

1/v+1/u =1/f

1/f =0.03063

f=32.651 cm

Power = 100/f = +3.0627
