I would look them in the eye and say that I didn’t feel comfortable driving with them and that my parent was going to pick me up. My friend might try to peer pressure me into it by saying that it will be cool and that I shouldn’t be so uptight. My response will not waver and I will repeat that I don’t want to go with them, using a strong “I” statement and not loosing eye contact.
