A patient with diabetes who is on insulin coverage has been receiving 3 to 4 injections of insulin a day. what is important for the nurse to do when administering these injections

Respuesta :

Wipe the site of penetration with a IV prep and alcohol swap, estimate the amount of insulin the patient should receive, pinch up on the skin so the deliverer has cushioning for the needle and inject the needed amount into the patient. (Ask me for any Diabetic questions, I'm all for em)
