A pet store puts 9 rainbow fish into each of 6 tanks. If the pet store buys 3 more tanks, how many rainbow fish can be divided equally among all of the tanks?

since theres two fish in three of the six tanks that you had just put the three fish that were extra  in the three new tanks
you could have 1 fish per tank because there is 9 fish and there was already 6 tanks to begin with and you bought 3 more tanks so 1 fish per tank
