To prove
As given the expression in the question is
= (-2d²+s)(5d²-6s)
[tex]= -2d^{2}\times 5d^{2} + s\times 5d^{2} - 2d^{2}\times -6s + s\times -6s[/tex]
Now using the exponent property
[tex]x^{a}\times x^{b} = x^{a+b}[/tex]
Simplify the above
[tex]= -10d^{2 +2} + 5sd^{2} +12sd^{2} -6s^{2}[/tex]
[tex]= -10d^{4} + 5sd^{2} +12sd^{2} -6s^{2}[/tex]
[tex]= -10d^{4} + 17sd^{2} -6s^{2}[/tex]
