A patient with an advanced laryngeal tumor is to have radiation therapy. the patient tells the nurse, if i am going to have radiation, i wont need surgery. what is the best response by the nurse?

In the truth, the exposing to a therapy radiation means reduce the size of the tumor to be easier, after, to take off it by a surgery.
