In a rectangle the top and bottom are the same length, and the left and right side are the same length, therefore:

The top - 225 ft

The bottom - 225 ft

Left side - 150 ft

Right side - 150 ft

If he walks around all of this, we must add them up.

225 + 225 + 150 + 150 = 750


2. Each side of the square will be 3cm

We can see that the height of the triangle (3cm) is the same as the height of the square, therefore the square must have a height of 3cm. We also know that all sides of a square are the same length, so each side of the square must be 3 cm.

3.  The perimeter is 44cm

The perimeter is all the sides added up:

10 + 8 + 8 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 10 + 16 + 6 + 12 = 44

4. Rectangles A,C, and D have the same perimeter.

Again, the perimeter is all the sides added up, so here is the perimeters of each rectangle:

A - 14

B - 22

C - 14

D - 14

5. Answers A and B are the correct equations to find the perimeter.

Each side of a square have the same length, so:

8 + 8 + 8 + 8 which is A.

8+8+8+8 = 8*4
