It is remarkable because all 195 countries in the world came together to adopt the very first worldwide legally binding global climate agreement. In it, the governments of the world agreed to transparently and accountably work to reduce emissions and address loss and damage in their own countries, provide support to developing countries, and support climate actions initiatives in all regulations, treaties, and initiatives.
Over the years, governments across the globe have put many treaties in place to help curb the negative effects of human actions on the environment. There are treaties on all sorts of environmental issues. Some of them are:
