What is the best way to change this sentence from passive voice to active voice?

The hobgoblin was kept hidden in the basement by the old gentleman with unusual eyes.

In passive voice, the object receives the action from the subject.

In active voice, the subject is the one doing the action.

The old gentleman with unusual eyes kept the hobgoblin hidden in his basement.
