When behavior veers off from established societal, cultural, and ethical norms, it is said to be abnormal. Age, gender, traditional classifications, and society categorizations all play a significant role in these expectations. Due to these arbitrary factors, the definition of abnormal behavior is a topic that is frequently discussed in abnormal psychology. Unusual behavior shouldn't be mixed up with abnormal behavior. Out of the ordinary behavior does not always point to a mental or psychological disease.
