In "Ars Poetica" by Archibald MacLeish, we can see that the poet believed that painting and sculpture were good sources of inspiration. He also believed that the person who paints or sculpts should do these in a very vivid and relatable manner.

Moore in her poem extolled poetry and also eplained that imagination was the source of the ideas of a seasoned poet. An intelligent poet was also superior to the half poet who could not present ideas in a sterling manner.
