How to find the difference of mixed fractions?
In fractions, they can either be Proper fraction, improper fraction or mixed Fraction.
Now, a proper fraction is one whereby the denominator is greater than the numerator. For example, 1/4, 2/7, 5/8, etc. are proper fractions.
An improper fraction is simply the opposite of a proper fraction and as such it is a fraction whereby the numerator is greater than the denominator. For example, 4/3, 7/2, 9/5, etc. are improper fractions.
A mixed fraction is a fraction that contains a whole number and also a proper fraction e.g 1²/₃, 4¹/₅, 6⁷/₈ e.t.c.
