A summary of the given research topics above was that they were laws or legislation passed by the United States about the Native Americans with regards to land and peaceful co-existence and also the issue of giving them a settlement.

The different treaties and tariffs mentioned were for the Native Americans as the US government forced the removal of Cherokees from their southeastern homelands to Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River and this is known as the Treaty of New Echota.

What is a Treaty?

This refers to the formal agreement between states or sovereign nations that has been ratified for a particular topic or issue.

Hence, we can see that the evaluation of the presidency of Andrew Jackson was that under his regime, the United States evolved from a republic where only landowners could vote to a mass democracy that was all-inclusive.

The racism towards Native Americans during this period of Andrew Jackson's presidency was one of ethnic bigotry as he championed and pioneered the forceful removal of Native American tribes from their ancestral homes into settlements.
