If i am the project manager, the thing that i will say that we should  make a switch based upon the current situation.

The major issue with prototyping is that it is one that has a kind of a fast-paced system that tend to bring about challenge work to carry out  careful, methodical analysis.

Note that the prototype is one that do undergoes a lot of significant changes that many initial design decisions and thus can be poor ones. This can cause issues  in the creation of complex systems due to the fact that fundamental issues and challenges are not seen until well into the development process.
