Ampères Circuital Law.

Maxwell added displacement current to the electric current term in Ampère's Circuital Law. In his 1865 paper, A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field Maxwell used this amended version of Ampère's Circuital Law to derive the electromagnetic wave equation.

Ampere's circuital law states that “the line integral of the magnetic field surrounding closed-loop equals to the number of times the algebraic sum of currents passing through the loop.”

Ampere's Circuital law: It is the relationship between the current and the magnetic field created by the current. So according to this law, the integral of magnetic field density (B) along an imaginary path is equal to the product of the permeability of the free space and the current enclosed by the path.
