Annotating is the process of highlighting important parts of a text and making notes about the text. Go to the excerpt from The Time Machineand annotate it using the strategies discussed in this lesson. Instead of highlighting or underlining, you can print the excerpt, annotate it (mark it up) on paper, and type your most important notes below.
