A model is a representation of reality. Now we have that the path of the frisbee is y = -x² + 7x + 3 while the path of the dog is  y = 2x + 7.

The both paths will cross when;

-x² + 7x + 3 = 2x + 7

-x² + 5x - 4 =0

x=1 or x=4

If x = 1, y = 2(1) + 7 = 9

If x = 4, y = 2(4) + 7 = 15

Thus the paths will cross when the coordinates are (1,9) and (4, 15).
