A frog is climbing out of a well that is 8 feet deep. The frog can climb 4 feet per hour but then rest for an hour, during which it slips back 2 feet. How long will it take for the frog to get out of the well?

this is a kind of tedious way to solve it but it's simpler to understand like this. so you have 8 feet that you need go up. you go up 4, down 2, now you have six feet left to climb. 6-4+2=4 then 4-4+2=2. sorry if it didn't make sense
