How did people in Mesopotamia use land to survive?

Respuesta :

Mesopotamia, which name comes from the Greek meaning ´between two rivers´, was an ancient, historical region in Western Asia. It was situated between the Tigris-Euphrates river system, bounded in the Northeast by the Zagros mountains and in the Southeast by the Arabian Plateau.

The land is quite fertile due to seasonal rains and the rivers flowing from the mountains. Besides, the river provided the benefits of fish, used for food and fertilizer.

They used the land to farm crops. They planted and grew wheat, barley, dates, apples, onions, cucumber and many different kinds of herbs and spices.
