If you mean in terms of absolute monarchy here is my opinion.

England's monarch was also head of the Anglican Protestantism, thus the monarch had also a great influence on the English church. Who believed in the English church, was thus also supposed to believe in the English monarch. I think this made people less rebellious towards this form of government compared to other countries. That's one of the reasons why there still is a monarchy in England nowadays...in my opinion
