Respuesta :

Both the Congress of the United States of America and Parliament of Great Britain have two Houses.

The Houses are:

Congress

  • House of Representatives
  • Senate

Parliament

  • House of Commons
  • House of Lords

In both Congress and Parliament, laws need to pass through both Houses before they can be signed into effect.

There is a difference between Parliament and Congress however. In Congress, a law cannot become law unless both Houses accede to it. This is not the case with Parliament as the House of Lords cannot necessarily stop a law from being enacted. They can only delay it.

In conclusion, both Parliament and Congress are bicameral legislature in that they have Two Houses. In Parliament however, the House of Commons is more powerful than the House of Lords.
