Round ur quotient and the divsor like 100 divide by 9... would be about 11 and 9 is about 10 and 11 is about 10 so 10 times 10 is one hundred ao the quotient is reasonable
It is something that is helpful because then you can find out if you are in the right ball park when you find the actual answer. If your actual answer isn't even close to the estimated one, you will know that it probably isn't the right answer.
