These three concepts of inertia, mass, and weight are interconected. Intertia can be defined by Newton's first law, which states that "an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion." In other words, inertia is the amount of resistance an object has to change.
The relationship between mass and inertia has much to do with the first two laws of physics by Isaac Newton, which are that an object at rest will tend to stay at rest and an object in motion will tend to stay in motion.
