In my opinion, cooking is a perfect and very simple way to show some examples of Endothermic reactions.

Answer: Chemical reaction involved in the cooking process will be described as endothermic reactions.

Explanation: There are 2 type of chemical reactions:

  • Exothermic reactions: These reactions are described as the reactions in which heat is released by the substance.
  • Endothermic reactions: These reactions are described as the reactions in which heat is absorbed by the substance.

In the case of cooking, we apply continuous heat to the substance.

Hence, these reactions are considered as endothermic reactions.
