The decision in Griswold v Connecticut was based uon the idea that the Constitution forbids unreasonable search and seizure.

Griswold v. Connecticut was a landmark case in the history of United States. It addressed the individual’s access to contraception. The case dealt with a Connecticut law which prohibited people from using “any drug, medicinal article, or instrument for the purpose of prevention of contraception.”

Under the court, the statute was fully unconstitutional.
