What is the equation of the line that passes through (4, -1) and (-2, 3)?

2x - 3y - 5 = 0
2x + 3y - 5 = 0
-2x + 3y - 5 = 0
I know for sure that the answer is 2x + 3y - 5 = 0 I just need somone to explain it!

2x+3y-5=0
substitute (4,-1) where x=4 and y=-1
2*4+3*(-1)-5 = 0
8-3-5=0
0=0
correct!

test point (-2,3) where x = -2 and y=3
2x+3y-5 = 0
substitute
2*(-2)  + 3*3 - 5  = 0
-4+9-5=0
0=0
belongs!
