Suppose a volcano threw so much ash into the air that it blocked much of the sunlight. How might this event affect the ability of animals to obtain energy to live?

Respuesta :

Well the ash would block out the sun, and would stop photosynthesis, which would kill the trees and plants. that would cut off the supply of oxygen, making it hard to get a substantial amount of air for animals.

This event will affect the ability of animals to obtain energy to live through

reduction in the photosynthetic processes of plants.

Plants are the primary producers in the ecosystem and absorb solar energy

from the Sun in order to convert to chemical forms which are used by other

consumers. The consumers depends solely on the producer for food and

energy.

A volcano throwing so much ash into the air and blocking much of the

sunlight will result to a decrease in food and energy production by plants.

This will bring about mass deaths of plants and animals in the ecosystem.
