Erin built a rectangular-prism-shaped trough for her horses to eat from. The Trough is 3m long,1m wide,and 1m high ,hay for the trough costs 14$ per cubic meter . How much will it cost to completely fill the trough with hay?

so the volume is 3 cubic meters and every cubic meter of hay costs $14 so 

3 x 14 = 42
