False
the collapse of the allies occured on secondary fronts- like Turkey and
Iraq- and did not really affect the way the war was run. Moreover the
Russian front was secured (after Lenin "thanked" his german "guides" by
taking out Russia from the war) so the only areas that were contested
was Italy (practically a stalemate due to the mountains) and the
"western front".
What decided the outcome was the introduction of large numbers of tanks-
and the breaking of the German frontline (Battle of Soissons and Battle
of Amiens) to such an extent that the germans were unableto "plug" the
hole- and asked for Armistice. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080402065700AA6WFGh&p=The%2520collapse%2520of%2520the...
