for this data you can use a bar graph or line graph.
bar graph: you would need to color coordinate the bars. put the years on the x axis and the # of students as the y axis. above each year, put a bar with the amount of females and put another bar right next to it representing the amount of males(bars being different colors). continue this until each year is filled.
line graph: color coded also. year as the x axis and the # of students as the y axis. draw a dot to represent the number of students in each year for both genders. continue for each year and then connect the corresponding dots depending on the gender
