As you saw in the lesson, some organisms, such as planaria and strawberry plants, are capable of both asexual
and sexual reproduction. Under what environmental conditions do you think asexual reproduction would
provide a greater benefit? Under what conditions would sexual reproduction have a greater benefit? ~Please help I might give brainiest!~

Respuesta :

Asexual reproduction would be more beneficial in environmental conditions in a stable environment, since no new adaptations would have to be made. It would also be beneficial if there was a need to colonize a new habitat, since no mate is needed to reproduce.

Sexual reproduction would provide more benefits if there is an unstable environment in which a lot of adaptations have to be made, since it is a combination of genes from two different individuals.
