Ans: To find the equation of a graphed line, find the y-intercept and the slope in order to write the equation in y-intercept (y=mx+b) form. Slope is the change in y over the change in x. Find two points on the line and draw a slope triangle connecting the two points.
Always start on the y-axis.
rise/run
First things first, you have to know your positives, negatives, zeros, and undefined.
To make an equation from the graph you have to know your formula.
y=mx+b
You do the rise first. The rise on the graph is 3. The run is 2. So, that'll make it 3/2. m=slope.
b=y-axis. b=1.
y=3/2x+1 (Example from the image)
