Well, the Flood stories in both have stark similarities:
- In both, the deity or deities desolate earth because of man's wickedness.
- A chosen righteous man received some form of inspiration, one from God and one from a dream, to build an ark and save select people and animals
- The arks were similar except in shape
- In both, it rained for many days
- A bird was sent out in both to scout for dry land
- Both men from the stories set shore on a mountain
- Both offered sacrifices and were blessed by God/gods
- God/gods decide not to desolate earth with a flood again
