In the 1912 Voter’s Registration in Oklahoma, the following requirements should be met:

·         A voter must be a White American

·         A voter must be literate.

Given this, there was a clear racial discrimination against the African-Americans in the US. They believed that these people are illiterate and inferior to Americans residing in the US.

What requirement needed to be met in order to vote in Oklahoma, according to this 1910 state law?

c) Passing a literacy test
