First, you cancel out the x by moving the one in the right to the left. You subtract the 6 from the left to the one in the right, giving you 2x. Then you cancel out the number on the left to the right (same thing as the x, remember by cancelling a number out you make it the opposite of what it is so if it’s negative it turns to positive to cancel out). Final step is to cancel out the x so you can divide it by the number that’s left to get the x by itself !
