A movie star is caught shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. It is her first offense. what penalty should she recieve? Would the penalty you recommended be different if she were not famous?
Normally it would be 6 months in county jail and or a maximum $1000 fine. That would be for a normal person it might be different for a movie star I don’t think it should be any different though
