The Colonies are considered part of England, but divided in their own ideals and economies. How would you try to convince the 13 Colonies to unite against a common enemy?
This is a personal opinion but long story short, remind them about common interest of their dislike to the opponent. Talk about their differences. Make them realize they ate stronger together.
I would convince the 13 colonies to unite against England by reminding them of the high tariffs and limited freedoms they have. And how once we break apart from England they will have their own freedoms.
